Braehaven Assisted Living Residence
The residence is a 30-unit Assisted Living residence designed to maximise tenant independence and social opportunities.
The residence is comprised of 30 fully independent condominium type apartments with full kitchens, 3/4 baths that include a walk-in shower, dining and living areas and a considerable closet space in 545 square feet. Units have large windows with screens and Juliet type balconies.
Three main floor units are fully wheelchair accessible and include small private decks. All suites can accommodate wheelchair access and have been designed for maximum independence and minimum maintenance.
The residence also offers free laundry equipment and extensive interior and exterior social/common spaces for tenant enjoyment including a large furnished patio. Lunch and supper are provided in the residence dining room 7 days per week and there is light in-suite housekeeping and a recreation program offered as well. A 24-hour security monitoring system in built-in to the residence and each resident has an emergency call button available to summon assistance in the event of an emergency.
The residence does not accommodate pets. Assessment and referral by the Vancouver Island Health Authority is required to access the residence.
